Dr. Pierce Scranton is an Orthopedic Surgeon in private practice as well as Author of the book “Death on a Learning Curve.” He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and went on to complete his residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Scranton is board certified in orthopedic surgery. Formerly, he was team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, president of the NFL Physician's Society, and president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
