Paradigm Shift Before Our Very Eyes?

A year ago, when we covered the elections in Iran and watched in amazement as young Iranians took to the streets in peaceful protest, I knew that something truly profound was beginning to manifest. As this year passed, and we continued keeping a close eye of developments both at home and around the world, we looked for evidence that supported the feelings that surfaced during the Iranian protests. Although the outcome was not what many Iranian people had worked so hard for, I knew that what had taken place set an energy vibration that would not stop.
Most recent events in Tunisia and now in Egypt (even protests began today in Russia against Putin) are furthering to reveal that our world is indeed shifting paradigms, and there is no possible way to stop this from happening.
I have long joked that I awaited the day that the 'old guys' would die off or retire and the youth of our globe would finally step into positions of power, bringing much desired change to not only their communities, but to their states, nations, countries and the world itself.
We are witnessing a profound shift, shifting away from the old paradigm and toward the new. I can only smile that this seems to be taking place in this time, with 2012 fast approaching.
I, for one, will continue to watch and observe, with great hope. I will also continue to participate in whatever way I know how to be an active part of the change we all feel taking place.
It is my deepest hope that each and every person also sees these times as vibrant and full of possibility. It is my greatest wish that each of you find your own way to push us into the light of peace, cooperation and compassion.
