Out with the Old, In with the New
April 05, 2011
As I sit watching world events, as well as staying connected to our national political debates, I can't help but think ahead to our upcoming 2012 elections. Once again, as we go to the polls, practicing democracy and our right to be a part of change, we will find ourselves facing decisions that could impact each and every person, possibly at very deep levels.
Four years ago I joined in the chorus of "Yes We Can". What I have come to understand from experiencing the results of "Yes We Can" over these past several years, is that our hope is best placed in our own actions and ability to change things on a foundational level, rather than placing our hope in the choices made by our president.
I am not saying that Obama has not created positive change for our country, because on many fronts he has pulled us out of the chaos left behind by the Bush years. But as we watch the ongoing dischord brought about by a struggling two, now three party system that wastes enormous time, energy and money, playing the same old political games, it is paramount that we increase our momentum in utilizing the power of our individual vote, making it count for something.
I would invite you to consider what you stand for, what you find is important when you take a stand on any issue. Is it really time for change? What kind of change are you ready for? What does that change look like to you? What does it feel like to you? What can you do to help create this change?
It is clear people all over the world are fighting, even to the point of sacrificing their lives, for change. We are witnessing some of the most dramatic shifts in history as people demonstrate for change. "Out with the old and In with the New" seems to be the mantra of today.
Think about the old, and understand what you are ready and willing to let go of, as well as imagine the new, and what form this will take. True change takes time, and determination, and sacrifice and most of all spirit that may well be held within the words, "Yes We Can".

Radio Worth Waiting For!
Hello everyone!
Well, as much as I had wanted to begin broadcasting The Catherine Bradford Show as soon as July 16th on LA Talk Radio, it appears that we are all going to have to wait for that DEBUT SHOW. Over this past week circumstances (family matters) have created the need for me to postpone my opening show from airing, and so, we will all have to wait. I am hoping to have made it to the other side of these events within a short period of time, but until then, I am asking for your patience.
In the meantime, while taking this short and temporary hiatus from being on air live, I want to invite you to keep c...
